Barbie: Explorer is a PlayStation game featuring Barbie. It was developed by Runecraft, published by Vivendi Universal Games and was released in 2001. The plot and overall game are very similar to the 1996 Tomb Raider game.

Battle Arena Toshinden (バトルアリーナ闘神伝 Batoru Arīna Tōshinden) is a weapons-based fighting game developed by Tamsoft and published by Takara and Sony Computer Entertainment in 1995-1996 for the PlayStation, Sega Saturn, Game Boy, and PC. It was one of the first fighting games to boast polygonal characters in a 3D environment, and it is credited for taking the genre into "true 3-D" due to its introduction of the sidestep maneuver.The game was originally promoted as a PlayStation exclusive, with Sony initially promoting it as a "Saturn killer" (against Sega's Virtua Fighter), but it was ported to the Saturn with additional features less than a year later. Once fighting games like Tekken started emerging, Battle Arena Toshinden quickly declined in popularity, but still did spawn a series of sequels. It was the first 3D weapons fighter, and was succeeded in spirit by Soul Edge and other games of the genre.

Battle Hunter, known in Japan as Battle Sugoroku: Hunter (バトルすごろく ハンター) and in Europe as The Hunter, is an anime-styled tactical role-playing game, released for the PlayStation in 1999. It was released in Japan as part of the SuperLite 1500 series of budget games. The game revolves around a player-controlled hunter that must compete with three other hunters in order to win a relic, and makes heavy use of traditional RPG conventions such as dice and tile-based movement.

Bishi Bashi (ビシバシチャンプ Bishi Bashi Chanpu) is a series of Konami video games for arcades, mobile phones, PlayStation and Windows. All games in the series comprise playing through a wide variety of competitive minigames against other players. The arcade games support 1 to 6 players and the PlayStation game allows 1 to 8 players; the game will provide computer opponents if there are not enough players.

Blade is a video game based on the 1998 film adaptation of the Blade character that starred Wesley Snipes. The game was developed by Southport-based Hammerhead and published by Activision for the Game Boy Color and PlayStation in 2000. It follows the adventure of Blade with help of his mentor and friend Abraham Whistler, and with old remembered enemies like Dragonetti and Mannheim. Upon release, critics were mixed to negative in reviews; they were critical of the graphics, camera, controls, voice acting, and that it "failed to capture the spirit" of the movie.

Samurai Shodown III: Blades of Blood, known as Samurai Spirits: Zankuro Musouken (サムライスピリッツ 斬紅郎無双剣) in Japan and Fighters Swords in Korea, released on November 15, 1995. It is the third game in SNK's popular Samurai Shodown series of fighting games for the Neo Geo. While it is the third game in the main series, it is the first part of a two-chapter story set between Samurai Shodown and Samurai Shodown II.
