Magic: The Gathering: BattleMage is a real time strategy game published in 1997 by Acclaim. It is set on the continent of Corondor, where a planeswalker named Ravidel forces the most powerful mages to fight each other, so that he can eventually destroy them and conquer the land. The game received a poor critical reception due to its unfair AI, unfriendly interface, and unbalanced gameplay.

Swing is a computer puzzle game, released for the PlayStation and PC, developed in Germany by the now defunct Software 2000. In the USA, a similar game was released under the name "Marble Master". A downgraded version of the game was released for the Game Boy Color.Released in 1997, the object of the game is to score points by dropping balls onto sets of see-saws, in rows of three or more of the same colour. The twist, however, is that each ball has a different weight, determined by the number written on the front of it. The higher the number, the heavier the ball. This means that if a ball is placed onto one side of the see-saw which is heavier than the total value of the balls on the other side, the balance would be upset, sending the top ball flying across the playing field to land on another column. Cascade 'throws' can be achieved, and the game is over if a column reaches too tall. A variety of bonus balls, all with special uses, also feature.In 1999, a sequel was released: Swing Plus: Total Mind Control. The game was never released outside Germany.In 2008, a Java open source remake was made named XSwing Plus and released under GPLv2 and CC BY.[2][3]In 2015, a remake for Android made in Unity3D was released as Color-X-Plode. One year later it was also released for iOS.

Mega Man Legends 2, known in Japan as Rockman Dash - Episode 2: Great Inheritance (ロックマンDASH エピソード2 大いなる遺産, Rokkuman Dasshu - Episōdo Tsū: Ōinaru Isan), is an action-adventure game released by Capcom in 2000, acting as the sequel to Mega Man Legends. It was released for the PlayStation in 2000 for Japan and North America, and 2001 in Europe. Unchanged Japanese ports of the game were also released for the PC in Japan and parts of Asia in 2003 and for the PlayStation Portable in 2005. The game features Mega Man Volnutt's quest to find four keys hidden in the planet in order to aid in the search of the Mother Lode, a legendary treasure thought to be an infinite energy source.A demo of the game was originally featured in the spin-off The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, with its purpose being to show an overview of the gameplay of the title despite having an independent story. Critical reception to Mega Man Legends 2 has overall been positive with video game publications praising how the graphics and the gameplay improved over the ones from its prequel. Additionally, the game's story was praised for how complex it is in comparison to the ones from the original series.

Mission: Impossible is an action-adventure video game based on the 1996 film Mission: Impossible. It was developed and published by Infogrames Multimedia for Nintendo 64. It was later ported to the PlayStation by X-ample Architectures, with minor additions such as voice acting. It was one of the last games to be developed by Ocean Software after the company was bought out in 1996. A sequel, Mission: Impossible – Operation Surma, was released in 2003.

Monster Rancher, known in Japan as Monster Farm (モンスターファーム Monsutā Fāmu), is a series of life simulation role-playing video games created by Tecmo (now Tecmo Koei). The series currently consists of fourteen games across different video game platforms. In addition, the series has been adapted into an anime.

Mr. Driller (ミスタードリラー Misuta Dorira) is a series of video games developed by Namco. Mr. Driller puts the player in the role of a driller moving down through screens of blocks, having to keep his air supply from running out while avoiding being squashed by falling blocks. Games in this series have been released for PlayStation, Dreamcast, WonderSwan, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo GameCube, DS, WiiWare, Xbox Live, Windows, and iOS in addition to the arcade versions. The main character of these games is Susumu Hori, the son of Taizou Hori, who was the star of the original Dig Dug game.The project that would become Mr. Driller was originally intended to be a third game in the Dig Dug series, under the working title of Dig Dug 3. Hexagonal blocks were briefly considered, but this idea was abandoned when chain construction proved to be too complicated. Dig Dug 3 was initially developed unofficially by a few Namco staff; however, work on the game was suspended while R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 was being completed. However, Namco executives were impressed with the game and decided to support it as an official project.
