Hexen: Beyond Heretic is a dark fantasy first-person shooter video game developed by Raven Software and published by id Software through GT Interactive Software on October 30, 1995. It is the sequel to 1994's Heretic, and the second game in Raven Software's "Serpent Riders" series. The title comes from the German noun Hexen, which means "witches", and/or the verb hexen, which means "to cast a spell". Game producer John Romero stated that a third game in this series which was never released was to be called Hecatomb.

Hi-Octane is a racing and vehicular combat video game released in 1995 for the PC, PlayStation and Sega Saturn, developed by Bullfrog, and based upon their earlier Magic Carpet game code.It is notable amongst racing games for its wide and open tracks, and the resulting freedom offered to the player, and also for its excessive speed. It suffered in the marketplace due to thematic similarities with the better received Wipeout by Psygnosis and the generality of its graphics engine made for a very short depth of view compared to contemporary racing games.Hi-Octane is rumored to begin life as something several Bullfrog programmers coded in free time, and then decided to improve the game and market it under the auspices of Electronic Arts. Developer Peter Molyneux stated that EA set Bullfrog under pressure to release Dungeon Keeper, but they weren't able to do so within their deadlines. In order to relieve some of the pressure, they quickly developed Hi Octane.In a Gamasutra article it was mentioned that "PC and Saturn racing game Hi-Octane, was developed in just eight weeks using the Magic Carpet engine, as a way to "fill a quarter that didn't have enough revenue".

Hogs of War is a turn-based tactics video game developed by Infogrames Sheffield House and published by Infogrames, released for the PlayStation in 2000 for Europe on June 6 and North America on September 29, and later for Microsoft Windows in Europe only on November 3, 2000. The game is set in a First World War-era where anthropomorphic pigs engage in combat. Play proceeds in a turn-based fashion, with 3D graphics, vehicles, a career-based single-player mode, and voice-over work (both narration and for characters) by British comedian Rik Mayall.The tune for the game is John Philip Sousa's Liberty Bell March. The design of the game is discussed in the book The Game Maker's Apprentice, which is co-authored by the lead programmer of the game and has a foreword by one of the game's designers.

In the Hunt (海底大戦争 Kaitei Daisensou) is a horizontal scrolling shooter arcade game by Irem. It was released in 1993 and later published to the Sega Saturn, the PlayStation and Windows 95 for the PC by Kokopeli. A Super NES version was in development, with a playable version appearing at a Consumer Electronics Show, but it was never completed. The player takes the role of a submarine in underwater environments. There are a total of six levels in the game.The game was developed by the team who would go on to create GunForce 2 for Irem and the Metal Slug series for SNK.
