Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is a platform-adventure action role-playing game developed and published by Konami in 1997 for the PlayStation. It was directed and produced by Toru Hagihara, with Koji Igarashi acting as assistant director. It is the direct sequel to Castlevania: Rondo of Blood taking place four years later. It features Dracula's dhampir son Alucard as the protagonist rising from his slumber to explore the Dracula's castle which has re-appeared after Richter Belmont has vanished. It marks a break from previous games in the series, introducing exploration, non-linear level design and role-playing elements.Initially, the game was unsuccessful – particularly in the United States where it was meagerly publicized – but thanks to praise by critics, it gained sales through word-of-mouth and became a hit. It has been re-released on several consoles and is considered a sleeper hit, a cult classic, and one of the best video games ever made.

The game is named after former footballer, manager and current pundit Chris Kamara, who appears on the game's cover.Players choose from 25 teams to compete in five-a-side street soccer. 20 are available from the start and 5 can be unlocked. The teams are cities from different countries, such as London, England and Paris, France. The game incorrectly lists Prague as from Norway rather than Czech Republic. Some of the teams consist of female players.The game can be played in either Exhibition, Arcade, Time Attack, League, Cup and Penalty Shootout mode. The game allows up to 8 players to play via multi-tap.

Colin McRae Rally and Dirt 2 have since been developed and published for Mac OS X by Feral Interactive.Started in 1998, the franchise has been a critical and commercial success and is generally acknowledged as a pioneer of realistic rally sports racing games. The series is named after the World Rally Championship driver Colin McRae, who provided technical advice during development.Despite McRae's death in September 2007, Codemasters retained the use of his name on their rally games until the release of Dirt 3, where the moniker was dropped.

College Slam is a college basketball video game published by Acclaim. It was released for the Super NES, Genesis, Game Boy, Sega Saturn, PlayStation, and PC. It includes most major Division I colleges, but some, such as the University of Tennessee, the University of Notre Dame, and Mississippi State University (who had just made a run to the Final Four that year), are not included. The player can play tournaments, a season, or a single game. Many gaming critics accused it of being a thinly veiled repackaging of NBA Jam.

Cosmic Race is a racing game developed for the PlayStation 1 by the now defunct Japanese company Neorex. The game was released in 1995. Cosmic Race is the only game produced by Neorex.The game is notorious for being one of the worst video games of all time. Criticisms of the game include the strange controls (the player must press the R1 button to move forward), the poor graphics that were taken from the PlayStation developer's kit, and the poor collision detection.The video game magazine Game Players gave the game a score of 0% and even went so far as to name the 0% rating after the game, simply calling it "Cosmic Race".

Criticom is a 3D fighting video game developed by Kronos Digital Entertainment and originally released in November 1995 in the USA, March 1996 in Europe and October 1996 in Japan by Vic Tokai for the PlayStation. The Sega Saturn version was released in early 1997.
